Authorisation
Being in the group is not being logged in
Group membership grants nothing. Each staff member links their own Higgs account to their Telegram account, and the bot then acts as that person — with their permissions, attributed to them.
- Per-member account linking, not a shared group credential.
- Actions carry the identity and permissions of the person who asked.
- Removing someone from your staff removes what the bot will do for them.
Guard rails
Deliberately hard to break by accident
Only messages that @mention the bot are read at all — the rest of your group chat is ignored. Deletions require a confirmation, and disconnecting is one click on the Telegram card in settings.
- Non-mention messages are never processed.
- Destructive actions ask before they act.
- Disconnect from Settings → AI Assistant at any time.
Being in the group chat is not the same as being logged in.

Frequently asked questions
- Does the bot read our whole group chat?
- No. Only messages that @mention the bot are processed. Everything else in the group is ignored.
- Can anyone in the group change the menu?
- Only people who have linked their own Higgs account. Group membership grants nothing on its own — the bot acts as the individual, with that person's permissions.
- Can it delete things by accident?
- Deletions require an explicit confirmation, so a stray message can't remove a menu item.
- Which plan includes the Telegram agent?
- It's an Enterprise feature, and the gate is enforced on the backend as well as in the interface.
- How do we turn it off?
- Click Disconnect on the Telegram card in Settings → AI Assistant.
